What information is needed to receive an engineering quote or project estimate?

To evaluate technical scope and prepare an accurate engineering estimate or manufacturing quote, sharing preliminary concept sketches, Product Requirements Documents (PRD), 3D CAD models (STEP or native files), 2D drawings with tolerances, intended materials, target production volumes, or known operating constraints is helpful. Clients are welcome to reach out at any stage of development; having every technical document fully defined is not required to begin an initial discussion.

Design & CAD: Available 3D models, 2D PDF drawings, or early concept sketches.

Requirements: Physical envelope, material ideas, and operating conditions.

Quantities & Schedule: Prototype counts, expected production volume, or target milestones.

IP Protection: Mutual NDAs signed prior to file exchange; clients retain 100% CAD ownership.
